Foundations of Instructional Coaching introduces participants to the knowledge, skills, and dispositions essential for effective instructional coaching. Participants explore research-based coaching models, coaching cycles, communication and facilitation strategies, and collaborative approaches designed to support teacher growth and improve instructional practice. The course includes fieldwork in a school environment, providing candidates with authentic opportunities to engage in coaching activities such as classroom observation, collaborative planning, modeling, co-teaching, and coaching conversations. Field experiences include a supervisory component that provides guidance, feedback, and opportunities for reflection as candidates develop and demonstrate their instructional coaching skills.
Everfi is excited to partner with the Pittsburgh Steelers and their STEM partners to offer a limited number of Steelers STEM school events for local middle schools this fall. The Steelers are planning a series of four school-based experiences in late October and early November 2026, providing students with a unique opportunity to connect classroom learning to real-world careers in STEM.
School Kick Off Event Flyer.pdf
During these events, students will:
Hear from former NFL players about how STEM influenced their careers
Learn from STEM industry professionals
Participate in engaging STEM-focused experiences
Explore career pathways through authentic, hands-on learning opportunities
The opportunity is completely free for participating schools. Schools selected for the event simply need to:
✅ Complete the interest form: Steelers STEM Interest Form
✅ Implement Everfi's Endeavor STEM career exploration course with participating students prior to the event
Events will be held during the school day in the early morning. Availability is limited, and participation is not guaranteed until confirmed by Everfi. Students selected for participation will be required to complete a media waiver.
If your district is interested in bringing this exciting opportunity to your students, please complete the interest form as soon as possible. We look forward to partnering with you to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders.
