If you have a conflict with a scheduled Pioneer Choir event (dress rehearsal, concert, or festival) or will be missing several school days, please submit a Planned Absence Form. Doing so does not excuse the absence, but makes the director aware of the conflict and begins a discussion between all stakeholders. Planned Absence Forms do not need to be completed for single class periods away from school.
Anytime you miss a class, the points are automatically deducted from your weekly rehearsal grade. Within one week of your return to class, complete 60 minutes of practice and submit a Practice Journal. Shortly thereafter, your rehearsal points will be reinstated in PowerSchool.
