The Pioneer Choirs have proudly worn purple robes and white stoles in performance since the 1992-93 school year. Each student will be assigned a robe at the beginning of the school year. The robes and stoles are housed at Pioneer, and will be available for pick-up at 6:00PM prior to any concert. Robes and stoles are returned following each performance. Should your robe or stole need an alteration, repair, or cleaning, please bring it to the attention of our Robe Crew student volunteers.
Underneath the robe, each student must wear the following:
Black dress pants, black socks, and black belt OR Black skirt / dress
Black, closed toe dress shoes.
Long sleeve white dress shirt & dark tie (purple is suggested) OR Dressy blouse (any color, school appropriate) that will not show under the robe (no high collars, turtlenecks, please).
Nothing but the white dress shirt and dark tie should appear above the collar of the robe.
CHOIR CLOTHING EXCHANGE
We can lend any of the required items above, free of charge, to students in the Pioneer Choirs, through the Choir Clothing Exchange. Students can check out items in their size, take them home, and bring them back at the end of the semester. Please let us know if we can be of assistance.
Donations to the Choir Clothing Exchange are always welcome, should your child grow out of their performance attire. Donations should be brought directly to the choir room.
