Soulfege

Founded: Spring 2006

Founders: Ashley Park '09 and Dorothy Yarrington '08

First Performance: Ashley Park, Dorothy Yarrington, Kelsey Duerksen, Molly Epstein, Haley McNabb, and Erin Walker, girls from all three choirs, lip synched to a recording of themselves at the Choir Camp talent show. Stephanie Van Alstine joined the group in December. Their first year, Soulfege sang four concerts at Pioneer, and a benefit concert for the American Cancer Society at Forsythe. In the spring of 2009, Soulfege won Varsity Vocals Midwest A Cappella competition and placed second nationally singing at Alice Tully Hall in New York.
