GRAMMY® Foundation Awards
The Ann Arbor Pioneer High School music department is the proud recipient of eight GRAMMY® Foundation awards.
The GRAMMY® Foundation recognized excellence in high school music departments from 1998-2016.

2014-15 academic year.
Designated as one of the top three high school music departments in the nation.
Pioneer received a check for $3,500.
2011 National GRAMMY® Gold Signature School
2010-11 academic year.
Designated as the best high school music department in the nation.
Pioneer received a check for $15,000.
NOTE: Per GRAMMY® rules, Pioneer was required to wait until the 2014-15 academic year to re-apply.

2009-10 academic year.
Designated as one of the top three high school music departments in the nation.
Pioneer received a check for $5,000.
2006 National GRAMMY® Gold Signature School
2005-06 academic year.
Designated as the best high school music department in the nation.
Pioneer received a check for $20,000.
NOTE: Per GRAMMY® rules, Pioneer was required to wait until the 2009-10 academic year to re-apply.

2004-05 academic year.
Designated as one of the top seven high school music departments in the nation.
Pioneer received a check for $7,000.

Designated as one of the top seven high school music departments in the nation.
