Solar sails move Asteroid away from Earth

Mr Perminov said Roscosmos russian space agency

will divert the asteroid making several passes

near earth between 2029 with 30.000 km distance

again 2036 with Solar sails, slow moving the asteroid

with solar particle mass like a sailing boat uses wind.

No nuclear weapons involved so far

Financing needs $1bn to $20bn

"We should pay several hundred million dollars and build

a system that would allow us to prevent a collision,

rather than sit and wait for it to happen and kill hundreds
