I Had Seizure

On the morning of April 27, I noticed my right arm was not feeling right. An ambulance was called and I hand a seizure. They got the call out at 11 am, just as they were coming back into the ambulance station. They took ten minutes. By the time they got to the house the seizure was over. However I could not move my right side arm and leg. I was upstairs and they could not get me down the stairs, another ambulance was called to assist. They got me down the stairs and the second ambulance went to another call. There was a bit of a debate as to which hospital the ambulance was going to, but it was decided to go to Auckland Hospital. Movement did come back by the time I was at the hospital. There were three clocks were I was, my mum commented “I have never seen so many clocks.”

Someone was brought in by the Westpac Helicopter, and they needed my space, I was moved temporarily to another area, before being moved up to Level 6, ward 64, 9-C. Had brain scan which show something going on, however it was not an MRI, which could not be done until Monday.

April 28: “you know what day it is today, it is you birthday.” After lunch I actually left the Hospital with my parents, as I was allowed to leave the hospital for a short time. We caught the 70 bus to Britomart. Went to KFC to get a meal, hand me device with the number 21 on it. We went to a table to wait for the order. 21 was called out, I got up and headed over. Woman at counter said I will have that one, indicating my meal on counter in front of her. 21 was called again, I hand him the device and got the meal. I head back to the table and ate the meal. We took bus 70 back to Hospital.

April 29: “the time is already 4 am.” MRI level 5, 2.45 pm. Gave my date of birth, and he said “Happy Birthday.”

April 30: Man in bed B, radiation time 7:45 am, he had 15 minutes. Results of MRI could be early tumour progression or adjustment due to scarring cause by radiotherapy. Next step is a PET scan of the head, which can not be done at that Hospital, do not have a date as of yet. Discharged that afternoon.
