The Bartlesville Astronomical Society, a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to promoting science and education in astronomy and associated disciplines, as well as promoting awareness of astronomical and space-related events among its members and the public. BAS is led and operated entirely by volunteers. BAS has a long history of actively sharing our expertise at public events and through libraries, schools, scout groups, and other organizations as part of our outreach program.
