Edgar Pressdee and Eunice Jones, 7 June 1904

On the 7 June 1904, at the Parish Church, Edgar Pressdee, son of Mrs. Jane and the late Mr. Pressdee, of Victoria Avenue, married Eunice, daughter of John and Matilda Jones, Baker of Castleton House, Newton Road.

The bridesmaids were Gwladys Jones and Josephine Pressdee. Flower girls were Elsie and Flossie Pressdee, nieces of the Groom and Best Man was Albert Pressdee, brother of the groom. 

The photographer was Edmund Phillips, of Claremont Villas (approximately on the site of today's Joe's Ice Cream Parlour).

Eric Kirk and Marjorie Drage, c1950

The wedding took place at All Saints' Church, between Eric Kirk of Malvern and Majorie Drage, daughter of Mrs. Mary and the late Mr. Edward Drage of Hall Bank, Southend, Mumbles.

The bride was given away by her close family friend, Mr. George Bladen.

The Reception took place at the Mermaid Hotel.
