A collection of photos recording the construction of the sewage scheme . Few people know what lies behind the doors protecting these tunnels.

Large quantities of stone were mined during the construction of the various tunnels and much of this was used to create the popular Bracelet Bay car park and fill in the old Iron Mine on Mumbles Hill.

 At one time, people could erect a row of several houses and give it a name of its own. But where were they?

'A really excellent hotel overlooking the Bay and the views from its massive picture windows was simply breath taking. '

It began as a Villa', changed into Langland Bay Hotel, then Langland Bay Convalescent Home and is now Langland Manor
