BEFORE

Revealing the scheme, constructed in the tunnels and channels under Mumbles Hill and Includes a reference to the 1997-8 scheme at Knab Rock and of the new Swansea Bay Wastewater Treatment Works. 

AFTER

Few people realise what lies behind the doors protecting the Drainage Scheme Tunnels at Mumbles Head.

At the outbreak of war in 1939, the tunnels took on another role when the Brangwyn Panels from the Guildhall, as well as all the best porcelain and glass from The Glyn Vivian Art Gallery, were removed to a place of safety, using the sewage scheme access tunnels.
