These last few months were a great start-up for our 2019-2020 school year. The Athletic Council team started up right away and the entire council built great chemistry. The whole school is excited to see what the Black Bears will bring to the table this year and we’ve already got a little glimpse of the exciting events happening in the upcoming months.
The season began with our Senior Boys Volleyball tournament who came out strong and did not disappoint. They impressed all of their supporters and gave us a good insight as to what we can expect from them this season.
The following week our Junior Boys Volleyball tournament was held at SJB, led by the volleyball guru Mr. Ginjo! Our boys performed well and showed promise as to what the future holds for Brebeuf volleyball.
Later that month, our school hosted its annual Homecoming and Terry Fox Walk. We had many fun activities prepared for students, along with music playing throughout the day. Homecoming became even more enjoyable when both our Junior and Senior boys soccer teams got 1-0 W’s against Holy Cross! Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and it turned out to be a very fun and successful day for the school and its students. Way to go Black Bears!
