RAQUEL FELIU -INS Vallbera
Raquel Feliu Ayala graduated from the UPF (Barcelona) with a Translation and Interpreting degree in 2005 and holds a School Management postgraduate certificate from the University of Girona (2014). Nowadays she works as a high school teacher for English at INS Vallbera.
Her passion is creating & sharing ideas, projects and resources to make students improve their skills in an engaged and innovative way. She believes creativity and motivation are a must and AICLE/CLIL projects use the best methodology to learn English in a meaningful and efficient context.
She fights for animals’ rights, she is a true addict to TV series and she loves fashion, photography, illustration and travelling.

GEMMA MARTÍNEZ INS Sarrià de Ter
Gemma Martínez Esteve is a current English teacher at Sarrià de Ter High-School. She is the co-designer and coordinator of English Time Project together with her partner, friend and workmate Raquel Feliu.
Gemma holds a degree in Philosophy (University of Girona, 2000) and the Proficiency Certificate in English (Cambridge University, 2003). She's lived and studied in Scotland at Glasgow University (1999-2000) and in Clinton, Massachusetts in the USA (1992-1993). She's been an English teacher for 15 years and has worked both for private and state schools. She's taught adults, teenagers and children over the years. Her motto: Learning should be exciting!

ALBERT ALEGRÍ - INS Narcís Monturiol
Albert Alegrí is currently working as an English teacher at Narcís Monturiol, in Figueres. He holds a degree in Applied Linguistics (Universitat Pompeu Fabra, 2013) and a Master in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics (UPF, 2014). After that, he did some research in the IULA (Institute for Applied Linguistics) team, while teaching languages to people from different ages. After spending one course teaching in a private school, he studied the Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education (UNIR, 2017).
Sharing knowledge and experiences with the students and the workmates is the best thing about this job, according to him. He loves taking part in projects and working in an innovative way, for example by being a fan of the new technologies, in order to enjoy the English subject meaningfully and efficiently.

XAVIER CLAPAROLS - INS La Salle
Xavier works in la Salle Figueres as a History and English teacher. He likes spending time with his family, teaching, travelling and practising sports. He has lived in Edinburgh (Scotland) for two years where he enjoyed the culture, the people, the landscape... Everything but the weather!
He strogly believe in CLIL methodology as the best way of teaching and learning English.

NÚRIA CLOS VILANOVA –Institut VILAFANT
Silvia Vilanova holds a Translation and Interpreting degree from the University of Barcelona (UAB) (German – English). She is also graduated in Tourism by the University of Girona.
She's currently teaching English and German at Institut Escola El Bruel-Empuriabrava.
She loves spending as much time as possible with her family, travelling and sharing her time with good friends. She loves teaching English and enjoys interacting with children and teenagers.
She believes CLIL/AICLE projects are a good way to learn and improve English in a more efficient context.
She thinks learning as many languages as possible, living and sharing experiences with people from different countries, cultures and ideologies is very enriching for everyone.
