Greet your Halloween callers at school with some macabre activities, as we did at INS Narcís Monturiol.

HALLOWEEN CRAFTS & DECORATIONS:

We decorated the classroom walls and ceiling with paper crafts, such as haunted houses, ghosts and bats as an outlet to be creative and have fun!

HAIR-RAISING TANGRAM:

We challenged our students with a tangram to create different Halloween shapes. A tangram is a square that has been divided into different shapes and can be arranged to make new shapes and designs. Tangrams boost an intuitive sense of geometry, improve Math skills, work problem-solving and visual spatial skills.

TREAT OR MAKE-UP?:

Students who are studying the vocational studies of Personal Image and Esthetics put some sinister make-up on our 2nd of ESO students. Scars, bloody wounds, stitches, spiderwebs and axes put them in the Halloween spirit.

HORROR FILMS:

American teenagers often celebrate Halloween with a costume party and they watch horror movies. We also got scared with 4 short horror films: Red, Tuck me in, The Little Witch and Smiling face. Students completed a worksheet with vocabulary activities, comprehension tasks and critical thinking questions.

Not for wimps!
