Guy Fawkes and Bonfire Night

“Remember, remember, the 5th of November

gunpowder, treason and plot;

I see no reason, why gunpowder treason

should ever be forgot”

At INS Narcís Monturiol, the English Time students have learnt about the Bonfire Night celebrated in the UK on November, 5th. Now they know who Guy Fawkes was, the history of the gunpowder plot and why people gather round bonfires to commemorate this day with fireworks and firecrackers.

They have even made a Guy Fawkes paper mask and a moving Guy Fawkes model.
