MATERNITY AND PATERNITY LEAVES
All married female staff are entitled to maternity leaves of ninety (90) calendar days before and after the delivery with half pay for the entire period i.e. 3 months provided that their continuous period of service with the company is not less than a year.
Management has right to reduce last thirty (30) days out of ninety (90) days as per the business needs. In this case, employee will resume its work in office and will be treated in regular payroll calculations. Salary can be deducted if the working hours will be less. Payroll will be calculated on the total hours given at work during these 30 days.
3 month of paid maternity leave is allowed to females who have to deliver a child not only for nursing period.
Female employee can adjust this leave before and after the delivery of child totaling it to 3 months with the special approval from the HOD and HR Director.
Leave application must be submitted to HR Department minimum of fifteen (15) days in advance.
In case of emergency, employee must inform HR Department within 2 calendar days.
Male employees may avail maximum of two (2) days paid leave in the account of paternity leave.
Intervening national/ declared/ festival/ weekly off days will be counted as part of maternity and paternity leave.
To avail maternity or paternity leaves, employee should have minimum of one (1) year of service with the company.
These leaves are allowed only once in their entire service with the company.
