BIRTHDAY LEAVE POLICY
PURPOSE
This policy is designed to recognize and celebrate the birthdays of employees, promoting a positive work-life balance and fostering employee satisfaction.
ELIGIBILITY
All full-time, part-time employees and internees are eligible for birthday leave after completing their probationary period.
ENTITLEMENT
Employees are entitled to one (1) paid day off as birthday leave each calendar year.
Birthday leave must be taken within seven (7) days before or after the employee’s birthday.
Birthday leave cannot be accumulated, carried forward, or encashed.
REQUEST PROCEDURE
Employees must submit a birthday leave request through the company's leave management system or directly to their supervisor at least five (5) working days in advance.
Approval is subject to operational requirements, though the company will make every effort to accommodate such requests.
