CASUAL LEAVE
Employee can avail casual leaves for any certain unforeseen situation.Â
All the permanent employees will be granted casual leave with pay ten (10) days in a year. Casual leaves shall be granted on a prorated basis.
Casual leaves shall not be granted for more than two (2) days at a time. However, if more than two (2) days are availed, the total leaves shall be treated as annual leave(s).
Casual leaves cannot be accumulated, and balance un-availed leaves shall expire at the end of each calendar year.
Encashment of casual leaves is not permitted.
Casual leaves shall not be combined with public holiday(s) or weekends if the holidays are falling within the casual leave period and make it sandwich then the holiday or weekend shall be considered as part of the casual leave.
If an employee is found absent without having any formal approval or without submitting application of leave at same day then his/her leaves or absence will be then considered as leave without pay.
It is an employee responsibility to fill and get it signed by his/her department manager so HR department can proceed with the further approvals, if needed. Approved leave application must have to be reached HR department one day prior to leave; otherwise leave will not be considered.
In case of any emergency, employees on probationary period can avail casual leave after the approval of line Manager and HR department.
