CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
1. PROBATION
The employee shall serve a probationary period for three months or more as deemed necessary by the Company. In certain cases, the Management may shorten or waive the probation period altogether. During the probation period, no leave or medical charges are allowed and if any staff avail leaves, it will be treated as unpaid leave.
In case of an emergency, one sick leave may be granted as an exception, provided a medical certificate is submitted.
2. CONFIRMATION
Upon satisfactory completion of the probationary period, the appointment shall be confirmed in writing. As a general policy, no salary adjustment will be given on confirmation unless it is decided at the time of job offer.
3. RESIGNATION / TERMINATION
During the probationary period, either party may terminate the employment agreement with 1 to 7 days' notice. After successfully completing the probationary period, a 30 working days’ notice via email or payment in lieu thereof is required from either party to terminate the employment agreement. Employees are not permitted to resign while on leave (casual, annual, or sick leave). If an employee decides to leave the company while on leave, their last working day will be considered the day immediately before the start of the leave.
Once an employee submits their resignation, their salary and any pending claims will be processed through cheque or bank transfer in the subsequent payroll cycle. Provident Fund payments will be released within 45 to 90 days.
Any kind of leaves and Work From Home shall not be allowed while serving notice period.
Employment with “MXT" is normally terminated/Separated through one of the following actions:
Voluntary resignation by the employee
Layoff termination due to reduction of the workforce, elimination of a position, or decrease in Business
Dismissals, involuntary termination for substandard performance, misconduct, or inability to perform the duties required of the position due to physical or mental illness.
