Remove existing insulation as needed.
Sweep or vacuum away any dust and debris where air sealing materials will be installed to allow for maximum adhesion.
Seal with caulk or one part foam to ensure proper adhesion.

Air seal with rigid material, bedded in sealant, fasten to ceiling joists and soffit framing with screws or nails.
Seal perimeter of rigid material thoroughly with one part foam or caulking.
Take photos of all work that is not easily accessible or that will be covered.
Conduct a Worst Case draft test to verify Category I, II and III are venting safely before leaving home for the day.
Testing shall be recorded using the WAP Worst Case Draft Test form.
