Here are some additional resources from the 11/21 session:
M+R Benchmarks: M+R is a great resource for nonprofits that don't have their historical benchmarks to fall back on. The "Revenue Raised in Each Month" chart does a great job of illustrating how giving spikes in December (40%, compared to only 8% in November).
NextAfter Benchmarks: This can also be a great source of insights for nonprofits who are just getting started. NextAfter data found that 12/31 brought in 3x more revenue than Giving Tuesday, despite more nonprofits making appeals on Giving Tuesday.
Giving Tuesday 2024 Results: While this report focuses on GT, it will hopefully set board member minds at ease that an additional pulse in giving is expected in early December as GT revenue continues to grow despite headwinds.
A collection of conversations with nonprofits about how they succeeded, failed, and learned to do certain things that come up during Give!Guide and other fundraising moments.
Featuring peer experts: Sophia Anguilla (Friends of Outdoor School) and Adam Lewis (Neighborhood Partnerships).
Featuring peer experts: Nina Dabit (XRAY.fm), Heather King (Columbia Slough Watershed Council), and Nicole Perkins (PAW Team).
Featuring peer experts: Danielle Schneider (Tualatin Food Pantry), Rebecca Sturges (Dougy Center), and Roma Peyser (Transition Projects).
Led by Andrew Hansen and Abby Diskin from our training partner, CauseMic. Here's the slide deck.
