Debriefs are extremely important around here. It's how we discover ways to improve and correct mistakes. Please be real with us and tell us how it really went for you and your nonprofit.

At the end of the campaign, every transaction is reconciled by an outside accounting firm. We do this for 360 degree accountability between the nonprofits, donors, and ourselves. We take our responsibility as your authorized fiduciary agent very, very seriously.
We want to make sure every penny goes exactly where it should. This is a massive and intense internal audit. The reconciliation period begins January 2 and usually takes two weeks. It's finished when everything is 100% accurate.
REQUIRED ACTIONS:
None. This is a G!G-HQ-and-accountants only activity.
If there are any adjustments that impact your nonprofit during the reconciliation period, you will be notified. This is rare.

Your donations will be distributed after reconciliation is complete. Our goal is to have the checks signed and ready for distribution at the celebration reception following the campaign. Payments not collected at the party will be immediately mailed.
G!G 2025 Payday: January 22, 2026
Reminder: A 4.25% administrative fee is only assessed on donations processed through giveguide.org. If your donors have included the fees as part of their donation. You'll see that in your payment breakdown.
G!G pays for all costs incurred beyond the 4.25% threshold. The fee helps defray costs of reconciliation, credit card interchange, processing, fraud deterrence, and merchant fees.
👉 Your payment in January will be accompanied with a complete breakdown of source (regular, direct-to-nonprofit, direct-to-G!G) and administrative fees.
Don't lose this, your bookkeeper will want it for their records!

REQUIRED ACTIONS:
✅ Collect and deposit your check ASAP (they expire in 60 days).
✅ Confirm we have the correct mailing address for your org (in case you can't pick up your check in person).
💰 😵💫 Every year we spend weeks chasing down people that forget to deposit their checks. You worked so hard for that money, don't lose it or forget it!

An Invite from Adventures Without Limits
Hello wonderful nonprofit development folks!
After a busy fundraising season, we'd love the opportunity to connect and celebrate our collective Give!Guide success with a winter walk in nature. Adventures Without Limits would like to invite our fellow Give!Guide Campaign Leaders to join us for a snowshoeing adventure on Mt. Hood on February 20.
AWL will provide all the gear, equipment, instruction needed to participate, and transportation to/from the mountain from a central meet-up location in the metro area if desired.
No experience necessary, just a sense of adventure and openness to connect with other nonprofit leaders. This trip is free to attend, but space is limited so we'll ask for no more than 1-2 representatives from each participating nonprofit.
