School Principal II
San Joaquin School of Fisheries is a Technical-Vocational School offering special courses on various fields of Agriculture, Fishery, Food and Beverages, and Home Economics along with the basic curriculum that offers regular subjects. The student population for the School Year 2021-2022 was 780 while the number of teachers and staff was 50.
As a response to the needs of learners during pandemic, the school board decided to implement blended learning as the primary mode for distance education. Learners primarily deal with self-paced learning through learning activity sheets/modules from the Department of Education and is accompanied with an online discussion done every week, but with the efforts of the School Principal, Mr. RJ G. Sapalo and the whole faculty and staff, the school was the first secondary school in the Municipality of San Joaquin to be given the authority to hold limited and expanded face to face class. By that, learners were able to learn in a more convenient set up, and practice teachers were favored to experience teaching in the most realistic setting.
