Hello! My name is Jason Weston and this is my first year at West valley Early College High School. This is my ninth year of teaching, with my first eight years coming from Corning Union High School. Previously, I have also worked at Durham High School and did my student teaching at Hamilton Union High School. Each experience has been great and I look forward to my time on such a great campus. I teach US History, US History Honors, and Leadership. In the past, I’ve also taught freshman history courses as well as World History.

A major part of my day is spent around athletics, which is my passion. I put many hours into coaching and look for our student-athletes to be successful in every aspect of their experience. This is my tenth season coaching football, with two seasons at the junior varsity level and eight at the varsity level. This will be my sixth consecutive season as a defensive coordinator, which takes most of my time as a coach. I have head coaching experience, albeit at the junior varsity level, for eight seasons in baseball as well.
