Spanish 2
Credit Recovery
I received my BA in Spanish at California State University at Chico State, and my MA in Leadership in Education at Simpson University, along with my teaching credential. I lived and did mission work in Mexico for 2 years, and then went to Bolivia where I continued as a missionary for 20 years.
I hiked the Incan Highways in the Andes Mountains, searched out dinosaur foot prints in the Andes, and Incan cave writings. I visited the Indian villages, stayed with them in their adobe homes, ate what they served (found a doctor afterwards!), and learned their culture while I taught them. Most of my work was in the Capitol city of Sucre, where My wife and I worked 20 years, pastoring a church and raising our daughters. Understanding Spanish culture is so vital understanding our Spanish speaking friends! I love to stories of my cultural experiences to the students!
