About Me

¡Hola! My students know me as Señora Mojica, I teach Spanish I, III & AP. This will be my 11th year teaching here at WV!

As a native Spanish speaker, sharing the love for my language and culture has become my passion. I enjoy teaching Spanish because I can see the students' language acquisition journey and how proud they are when they are able to communicate in Spanish. Learning a new language can be intimidating, but I believe that my enthusiastic, cultural approach to teaching Spanish enables students to acquire language skills in a manner that keeps them interested and motivated.

I’ve been married for 9 years to my husband Abel. We have 2 boys ,Jayro who is 6 and Jesse who is 3. We enjoy spending time outdoors and going to the beach.
