Level 96 is the 97th level of the Progressiverooms. It consists of empty dark fields that have no light at all, no possible light source can light the level up. The only "light" in the level seems to be the eerily dull light tan sky that has foggy-esque clouds. The level feels like a desert, and has some vegetation, but it is all a silhouette.
The only entities found in Level 96 are Pseudo-Explorers which wander around within the horizons of the level. They do not interfere unless messed with, they could have a diversity of intentions but what is mostly known is that they casually or skeptically roam levels. See page for more info.
Alongside Pseudo-Explorers, mirages of distant cities and buildings can be seen in the level, but it known that these are never real. The mirages will either disappear after a certain amount of time or if you try to approach them.
There is no real threat seen in Level 96, other than the complete darkness and the frigid temperatures.
Recorded temperatures of Level 96 have been shown to decrease during its "day-night cycle". During the day, the sky will have a dull brown appearance, and will have black foggy clouds that almost seem formless floating around. The transition over to night from day turns the sky into a dark blue tint, and the clouds will vanish with ease, and then the same happens when transitioning to day. The temperatures of day usually vary from 0°F to 24.4°F. At night, the range of temperature will decrease to around -32.4°F to -2.92°F. Due to this temperature drop, it is best you bring easy conductors and heating devices.
There are no known colonies and outposts found in Level 96.
Bury yourself in a hole and cover yourself with snow. After 10 seconds, exit and you'll get here from Level 35.
