Job Title: Small Business Internship
Salary Range: $15 an hour

Status (Branch Level) / Hours: Internship (17-24)
Position Summary
This role provides a comprehensive learning experience about running a small business and can help develop skills in both business management. Interns will also gain insights into consumer preferences and trends, which are key to growing a retail-related business. Will be working independently and with a team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1.
(Business Operations): Assist with day-to-day operations such as managing inventory, overseeing production, or coordinating services. This might include organizing work schedules or helping with customer inquiries.
(Marketing & Social Media): Helping to promote the business through digital marketing, social media management, or content creation. Interns might work on creating ads, writing blogs, managing social media accounts, or supporting email campaigns.
(Customer service): Engaging directly with customers, either in-person or online. Interns may handle inquiries, solve customer issues, or process orders.
Sales Support: Working alongside the sales team to generate sales
(Financial Tasks) Assisting with bookkeeping, invoicing, or expense tracking. Interns may learn how to manage budgets, pricing, or prepare reports.
(Product/Service Development) Supporting the development of new products or services by conducting market research, competitor analysis, or brainstorming sessions for new ideas.
(Project Management) Assisting with specific business projects, from research and planning to execution. Interns may be involved in managing timelines, coordinating team members, or presenting results.
(Administrative Support) Performing administrative duties like filing, organizing, scheduling meetings, and preparing documentation.
