Photography Intern

Position Summary

We are seeking a creative and motivated Photography Intern to assist in capturing, editing, and organizing visual content for our film project. This internship is a great opportunity for aspiring photographers to gain hands-on experience, build their portfolio, and develop technical and creative skills in a professional setting.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

• Capture high-quality images for marketing, social media, and brand campaigns.

• Edit and retouch photos using software like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

• Organize and maintain a catalog of digital assets.

• Assist in video production

• Research photography trends and provide creative input for upcoming projects. 

Work Location: 

• Wyam Youth Center, 1230 Warm Springs Street

• The area around Warm Springs; highways and such

Other Skills (will probably be learned on the job for the interns)

• Experience with videography

• Strong attention to detail and a creative eye.

Work Environment

• Possible exposure to airborne pathogens (e.g., COVID-19). May be required to wear personal protective equipment such as facemasks (for respiratory protection) and/or gloves. 

• The area around Warm Springs; highways and such; travel 

Physical Demands

• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10lbs and occasionally lift and/or support up to 75lbs

• While performing this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to sit, and to use hands to handle/feel objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, to taste or smell, to climb or balance, to stoop, kneel, or crouch.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
