Job Title: Film-maker (Editor) Internship

Position Summary
Do you have a passion for filmmaking? An interest in visual story telling and film techniques? We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Filmmaking Intern to join our summer crew. This internship offers hands-on experience in the film production process, from pre-production through post-production. You’ll create your own film project, working closely with a team of actors, editors, and directors.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist with pre-production tasks such as script breakdowns
Support production teams during shoots, helping with equipment set up, lighting, and managing on-set logistics
Participate in post-production by helping organize footage, transcribe interviews, and assist with editing tasks
Collaborate with other interns and team members to ensure smooth workflow across all stages of production
Learn and grow by participating in creative brainstorming sessions and production meetings

Work Environment
Possible exposure to airborne pathogens (e.g., COVID-19). May be required to wear personal protective equipment such as facemasks (for respiratory protection) and/or gloves.
Physical Demands
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10lbs and occasionally lift and/or support up to 75lbs
While performing this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to sit, and to use hands to handle/feel objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, to taste or smell, to climb or balance, to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
