Guided mindfulness is the process of listening to a voice recording as a way to calm the body and mind. It encourages the listener to use their imagination as described on the recording in order to become more aware of the present moment and more settled within the body.

3. Vacuum Cleaner: This mindfulness strategy encourages the listener to imagine their very own vacuum cleaner, which can be fictional or real. This vacuum cleaner is used to vacuum up any unwanted thoughts, feelings, or tight spots in the body, leaving the listener feeling safe, comfortable, and relaxed. 4. Safety Bubble: This mindfulness strategy encourages the listener to imagine that there is a strong safety bubble all around them. This safety bubble is filled with thoughts of love, happiness, and peace. Only good thoughts are able to enter this safety bubble and the listener is able to make this bubble as big or as small as they would like just by thinking about it. 5. Progressive Muscle Relaxation: This mindfulness strategy teaches the listener to differentiate between a tense and relaxed body.
