Step 1: Press the Windows key on your keyboard to enter the search bar and search for the Adobe Illustrator...

Select the Adobe Illustrator app to open the software.

Step 2: Once the software has loaded select the 'Create New' button.

Step 3: Enter the dimensions of the shape that you would like to create:

• For the square the dimensions should be width: 50mm and height: 50mm
• For the rectangle the dimensions should be width: 80mm and height: 50mm
• For the circle the dimensions should be width: 60mm and height: 60mm

Press the create button to create the canvas.

Step 4: Select the shape tool to draw a rectangle, square or circle.

To select different shape tools hold the left mouse button on the icon to access the fly-out menu and select the desired shape.

Ensure that the shape you draw fills the canvas.

Step 5: Select RGB Red by copying the following settings:

• R: 255
• G: 0
• B: 0

The colour code should be #FF0000
