Step 1: Start the new drawing on the same file as the previous parts...
First, expand the bodies tab and click on the eyeball icon next to Body1 and Body2 to hide these.
Step 2: Press the C key (Hot-Key) on your keyboard to create a CIRCLE from a center point sketch.
Select the plane that you would like to start sketching on. In this instance we will use the XY plane (the floor).
Step 3: Select the centre point where the red and green line cross over and drag a circle outwards. Enter a dimension of 10mm. Press Enter.
Step 4: Press the E key on your keyboard to enter the EXTRUDE command.
Select the area inside the circle > Enter a dimension of 1mm > Press Enter.
Step 5: Press the C key to create a CIRCLE from a center point sketch.
Select the top of the cylinder that was created in Step 4.
Select the centre point where the red and green line cross over and drag a circle outwards.
Enter a dimension of 5mm.
Press Enter.
Step 6: Press the E key on your keyboard to enter the EXTRUDE command.
Select the area inside the circle created in step 5.
Enter a dimension of 7.5mm.
Press Enter.
Step 7: Press the C key to create a CIRCLE from a center point sketch.
Select the top of the cylinder that was created in Step 6.
Select the centre point where the red and green line cross over and drag a circle outwards.
Enter a dimension of 3mm.
Press Enter.
Step 8: Press the E key on your keyboard to enter the EXTRUDE command.
Select the area inside the circle created in step 7.
Enter a dimension of -5mm.
Press Enter to remove material.
Step 9: Select the 'Create' drop-down menu > Select 'Thread'
Select the internal face > Ensure that you select the 'Modeled' radial button.
Press Enter to thread the part.
Step 10: Press the A key on your keyboard to enter the APPEARANCE command.
Select anodized aluminium (grey) from the list and drag this directly onto the model.
Completing this step now will ensure all copied bodies are made from the same material.
Step 11: Expand the bodies tab.
Select 'Body3'.
Press CTRL+C
Press CTRL+V
Alternatively, right-click on Body3 and select copy...
Step 12: Select 'Body4'.
Press the M key on your keyboard to enter the MOVE command.
Use the arrow to move the copied body laterally. Press Enter.
