Tips for Online Research
DO NOT copy and paste whole paragraphs 'to sort out later'.
Use this quick and easy method to list sites that will be useful, by emailing their URLs to yourself, or saving them in a document. (URL = web address)
Split your screen by using the Windows button and the arrow buttons, e.g. choose which tab/window will go right.
TIP: You pull down a tab to give it its own window.
Copy the whole web address (URL) using Ctrl+C.
Paste it in your email or document using Ctrl+V.
This will give you 'food for thought' and a handy list of pages that you can use again.
TIP: Browse the night before you start, to boost your motivation and also to 'sleep on it'.
