Read and Rinse

Overview:

We're the second chapter of Read and Rinse, started at New Cannan High School. The basic idea of this program is to promote literacy in underprivileged communities, specifically laundromats. It has been proven that many families will bring their children to do their laundry when childcare is difficult to obtain. We supply hand-painted crates filled with books and other literary activities for kids which we collect through book drives.
