Green Team
About Us
The Green Team is a student-run club that works to design and implement sustainability and conservation projects and systems here at WHS. The Green Team also educates and encourages all Weston students, staff, teachers, and visitors to participate in environmentally-responsible efforts.
What do we do?
Sort Recyclables: Every Saturday, we collaborate with sports teams to help sort bottles, cans, and glass at Weston's Transfer Station for revenue.
Tree-Plenish: We collaborate with Tree-Plenish to sell trees to Weston residents.
Swap Shop: To help reduce waste, we began hosting a Swap Shop event at WHS, where people can swap their clothes for new ones!
And more! We're always looking for new ideas from our members!
