Tri-M Music Honor Society
Who We Are
The Tri-M Music Honor Society is the international music honor society for high school students. It is operated by NAFME (The National Association for Music Education).
Tri-M works to recognize music achievement, promote music education, and create opportunities for community work.
Our WHS Chapter
This is the 6th year of the WHS Tri-M Senior Chapter. The society is run almost entirely by a group of student board members with input from the constituency.
Our focuses include:
Fundraising for and through music
Assisting with musical performances
Developing, planning, and executing musical initiatives
Actively seeking to increase music involvement
Commitments as a Tri-M Honor Society member:
Meet at least once a month
Additional meetings scheduled for specific events
Perform 10 hours of music-related school and community service throughout the year
Enhance the WHS community with music-related activities, performances, and experiences
Act as a role model for music students in their community
