What We Do:
Weston Walks is a walking and hiking club. We aim to provide a fun and relaxing opportunity to embrace nature while simultaneously giving back to it through fundraising bake sales. All proceeds from sales go towards Earthplace of Westport and the Connecticut Forest and Park Association.
About Weston Walks:
Weston Walks was founded by students who love the outdoors, walking, and hiking. We want to create a low-key and low-commitment space for those who do as well to enjoy nature, spend time with friends, and experience the outdoors and what it has to offer.
Meetings:
Weston Walks meets the first Thursday of each month in the Main Lobby by the benches
Meetings include: walking on campus, occasionally hiking off campus, discussing fundraising, and planning future meetings.
Fundraising:
Weston Walks holds fundraising bake sales where 100% of the profits go towards Earthplace of Westport and the Connecticut Forest and Park Association, supporting local nature preservation, rescued woodland animals, and the upkeep of parks and trails in our area.
Bake sales are held in the main lobby before school.
