Use this form to recertify an existing club for ther 2026-27 academic year. This form also contains an RSVP to Club Fair.
Use this form to apply to start a new club. After you have submitted this form, Mr. Torres will contact you to meet and then you will complete the final signatures page.
This year's club fair will take place on 9/18 in the Galleria (athletics hallway) and hallway leading toward the cafeteria. The setup will be very similar to last year. Clubs will have a desk or half of a table. Here are the details and expectations. If you are unable or unwilling to adhere to these expectations, you're more than welcome not to participate. If you have already completed the 2026-27 recertification form, then you have already RSVP'd and no additional action is required.
Date: 9/18/24 (G Day)
Time: 10:58-12:28 (Period 6)
The Club Showcase will take place during lunch waves.
Location: Galleria Hallway
Desks will be set up along the galleria hallway so that students can casually browse the club offerings during their lunch waves. Since this will take place during lunch waves, you may not be able to have a club member standing at your board. That is totally fine, and the trifold boards should be designed with that in mind!
Materials: Trifold Board (or some equivalent board that can stand without being taped to the wall).
Clubs are required to have a trifold board to display their club's information. The following minimum information must be included on the trifold board:
the club's purpose/mission
parent organization (if applicable)
meeting days/times/locations
activities you do during meetings
expectations for participation (what do you want new members to commit to, if anything?)
I would also strongly recommend having a sign up list for interested students. Remember, no phones means links and QR codes are not going to be easily accessible to students. Go with an old fashioned clipboard instead! You have the freedom to make the sign up sheet the way you'd like, but just make sure you get the students' email addresses and names so you can contact them later.
Then, make your board look as nice as possible. Make it colorful, include pictures...it's your sales pitch to the student body! You cannot buy trifold boards at the library this year, so please order from Amazon or run out to Target this weekend!
