CIS Masterclass

Onboarding Survey - This will be sent to you by your Partner Success Manager. Please complete this form with your company information, logo and exhibiting name, as well as to help us gain a better understanding of your objectives at Web Summit.

• Please submit your roundtable title, synopsis, and host details using (this form which will be available soon) by Oct 2 at the latest. All content is subject to approval by the CIS team. Your Partner Success Manager will inform you once your roundtable title and synopsis have been approved.

• Please send your Partner Success Manager the full name, job title and email address of your CIS attendees by Oct 2 at the latest. 

Masterclasses are a chance for our global partners to engage with our attendees in an interactive environment. They allow our partners to curate content for CIS attendees in a private and dedicated space.

Masterclasses give our partners the chance to position themselves as industry experts in front of a targeted audience, while also generating quality leads.

Overview

• Choose a topic that is engaging and relevant to your audience.

• Avoid sales pitches at all costs. Attendees don’t like them and they don’t work. Masterclasses are an opportunity to position yourself as an expert.

• Try to keep your synopsis short and gripping with a “hook” question underpinning it. Example: Will AI change how we do business?

• Please note that roundtable titles have a 55-character limit and the session synopsis has a 200-character limit.

• All content is subject to final approval from the CIS team.

Masterclass structure

• Masterclass sessions should run for 30 minutes with max 2 hosts.

• All CIS attendees will be invited to the masterclass. 

• The masterclass will take place in a room within the CIS venue. You will be informed of the location of your masterclass room in advance of the event.

• The masterclass room will be set up theatre style for the attendees and will come with a full AV and stage setup.

• If you are presenting slides during your masterclass, please send your presentation file to your Partner Success Manager by Oct 2.

• Host should arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their dedicated Masterclass. If late for your session,the organiser will try to accommodate where possible but may not be able to facilitate depending on the event schedule.

Presentation guidelines 

• Please ensure that all presentations are in 16:9 widescreen format.

• Ensure any audio and/or video embedded in your presentation is in .mov format and set to autoplay.

• The presentation must be able to operate offline. We endeavour to provide a sufficient wifi service but we cannot guarantee that it will be available at all times.
