How is the course assessed?
Six papers - 2 x Biology, 2 x Chemistry, 2 x Physics
Each subject paper is worth 50% of the overall subject grade.
Papers are tiered: levels 1-5 on the foundation and 4-9 on the higher paper
Students can sit a mixture of tiers e.g. higher for biology and physics, but foundation for chemistry
Students will gain an individual GCSE grade for each science.
