Monday 3/19-3/20: Students will be in the Media Center working on their Choice Board options. By the end of class on Monday students should have started their third Choice Board Option. On Tuesday, students will also be taking a WWI test. This test will not be graded since their Time Capsule Choice Board is their major summative assessment for this unit, however we will be using the data from that test to determine how we can improve student learning.
Wednesday 3/21: Students will be reading "The Decade that Roared: An Introduction to the 1920s." They will be answering the questions that go along with the reading. Students will also be working on their Roaring 20s Vocabulary.
Thursday 3/22: Students will be working on a Progressive Era DBQ related to the 18th amendment also known as Prohibition.
Friday 3/23: Students will be reading and annotating a primary source document written by a Flapper in the 1920s. When students are finished with this assignment, they will be participating in a dinner party in which they will get the chance to meet key figures and groups of the 1920s.
