- Students had one extra day to make final adjustments to essays. Students that finished early had enrichment activities/discussion posts on Google Classroom

Wednesday, February 28th
- Students learned about immigration to the United States during the Progressive Era. Using their findings, they created narrative poems that summarized the reasons for immigrating, the journey itself, life in America, and contributions to America.

Thursday, March 1st
- Students finished learning about immigration to the United States during the Progressive Era. Using their findings, they created narrative poems that summarized the reasons for immigrating, the journey itself, life in America, and contributions to America. After finishing poems, students learned about the contributions of several women during the Progressive Era by reading biographical information and completing Bubble Maps.

Friday, March 2nd (Early Release Day)
- Students finished the Bubble Maps from the study of women. Students were also introduced to the WWI Unit.
