[Basics]

DM himself has only 3 types of spawns (1 tile left/middle/1 tile right of the 5th row).


9-8HP: Phase1 (Shield)

When you attack DM's shield, he spawns enemies before he knockbacks. (thus newly spawned enemy can block his knockback)

You can try to deal less than 4 damage to prevent him from teleporting early, which can make fight faster (less teleport).

ex. (zap dagger without damage-up) use electricity to deal 1 damage, then hit normally.

ex. (titanium rapier without damage-up) deal 2 damage next to DM, then lunge DM to deal 4 damage.

ex. (Nocturna initial build) deal 1 damage with cutlass, then hit DM with bat form.

However, sometimes other enemies are messy and these can be slower than just fighting normally.
