To attend a uOttawa Nordiq outdoor off-campus practice, participants must follow the XC Ski Ontario Protocol Steps (1. video call; 2. Club membership; 3. Consent). If you're missing out on the video call get in touch with the head coach at uOttawanordiq@gmail.com.

On Campus practices (uOttawa High Performance Center / Lees Dome) require an orientation and consent to the uOttawa Return to Play Protocol. Contact uOttawaNordiq@gmail.com for info about this orientation.

Club Membership Information

All program participants engaged in training must be current members of a Cross Country Ski Ontario of Ski De Fond Quebec Club.

a. Nakkertok. uOttawa Nordiq athletes can get their Nakkertok Trail pass/membership now (all athletes will need to get this by the Fall as this is our on snow training venue). Nakkertok has a very good student rate ($95+XCSO and Nordiq Canada insurance/XCSO insurance for ON residents=$18 or Quebec insurance (more expensive)).

b. Other Ski Clubs. If you are a current member of another Ontario club that works (you'll still need to register for Nakkertok in the Fall). If you are not planning on skiing at Nakkertok and don't need a membership you can join XC Ottawa as your club - get in touch with Sheila for more info about XC Ottawa.
