XCSO Post-Secondary Super Camp - Ottawa 2019

Great news! Cross Country Ski Ontario is organizing Summer Training Camps for post-secondary students! They will be cheap, fun, and a great way to get together with other athletes to train for cross country skiing. The Ottawa camp is June 22-24 and features experienced coaches, amazing training venues, and will be a terrific way to kick off summer training.
Overview
June 22-24
YOB: 2001 and older
Cost: 15-20$
Accommodations: Billets to be arranged with organizer.
Transportation: On own. Transportation with own vehicles required.
Food: Saturday lunch is included (you are on your own for the rest).

We have changed a few locations because of some Gatineau Park beach closures and festivals happening around the city. We also have "backup" locations if parking is an issue at Gatineau Park Blanchet beach so if you are joining us for Saturday afternoon only get in touch with Victor to confirm location,.

Saturday - Gatineau Park
Saturday AM - P5 Gatineau Park - Classic roller ski with technique in Gatineau park (skate rollerskis if you don't have classic)
Lunch - P11/Obrien Beach or P13 Blanchet Beach if OBrien closed. Food provided. Hang-out time.
Saturday PM - Run/Ski-Walk in Gatineau Park - Trail 36 out and back if we're at O'Brien/P11, or Wolf Trail if we are at Blanchet Beach/P13.
Dinner - Group dinner at Chez Lucien - Byward Market (bring $$)
Saturday EVE - Ottawa Touristing-
*if you don't have classic rollerskis you can skate rollerski
Sunday - AM Gatineau Park (P5); PM - Mooney's Bay
Sunday AM - P5 - skate roller ski intensity in Gatineau Park
Lunch - with billets/TBD
Sunday PM - Nap
Sunday PM - Video Review (Carleton U Athletics Building
Sunday PM - Agility/Strength in Ottawa (Arboretum - Meet at Carleton U Athletics Building)
Sunday PM - depart for home or continue
Monday (Optional)
Monday AM - Long point to point roller ski and run in Ottawa
Monday PM - camp ends or continue on to XCSO-Nakkertok Super Camp at OWL
Expectations
- Athletes must provide their own equipment for the camp. If you do not have access to roller skis, please contact Victor Wiltmann (coach@xcskiontario.ca) and XCSO may be able to help. Camp equipment list to be provided prior to camp.
- Athletes are expected to provide their own transportation to/from all workouts.
