Thunders were blown away by Titans Storm ๐Ÿ˜€

The Mad Captain woke up before the alarm this time and was on the ground second after our Punjabi to-be off-spinner ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€

A beautiful day to begin and a good toss to win on a sunny morning with some dew in the outfield. Captain decided to bowl first and as expected the bowlers were right on track from the first over and there was no โ€œThunderโ€ in the batting till 13 overs as the scoreboard just showed 43/6 which was much below par knowing their batting strength and hitting power. The last 2 overs were somehow slogged for 25 runs which gave our batsmen a chance to do some practice. There was one GUY who cursed himself for not finishing the last game was quiet. Our batting didnโ€™t start so well and after 4 overs we were 15/3 until Puneet and Hari started building a decent partnership by taking singles and doubles to take the score to 32. When things were looking good then Puneet got runout due to confusion with the on-field runner for Hari (Hari had his muscle pulled while batting). Suddenly things started slowing down with 2 more wickets falling down and after 12 overs score was 48/6 which meant 21 needed from 18. Now coming back to the GUY โ€œAkshitโ€ who felt really bad for not finishing the last game was on the field with another sensible guy Hari. They both played the 13th over for just 3 runs and the equation went down to 18 runs from the last 2 overs and this was the time when most of the team members started thinking โ€œBC ab kya hogaโ€ , but the way Akshit hit one of the biggest sixes towards deep backward showed his hitting capability and that ended all the pressure. The first ball of the last over was again hit for a biggie towards long on and there was the victory stamp ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€ Kudos to Akshit and Hari for staying till the end and finishing the game in style to get back to the top of the table.

Fun fact: After the match, Hari told that if he touches a ball he will always say 2 runs even if the bowl directly goes to the fielder so itโ€™s up to the non-striker to decide whether itโ€™s a run or not ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
