The lead Timbers, singular or a pair. Title is dependent on what their primary task is as well as preferred pronouns. The Crown is the overall upper part of the tree, symbolizing that these Timbers are the head of the entire pack, and with the help of the rest of the Timbers, they create a whole.
i.e. Oakfather, Willowmother, Birchwolf
Titles tend to be; Crown Cedarmother, Crown Irina, or simply Crown
Irina was born already inheriting the Crown title. From the moment she drew her first breath, she was destined to lead the Timbers. Though she was not always willing to accept this responsibility, she has grown into the role, and now heads her faction with a strong sense of leadership.

Wolves handpicked by the Alpha(s) to run the pack in their absence. Referred to as "Thorn of the [Task]". Can also be referred to as "Thorn [Name]". Though not always inherently part of every tree, thorns are known to protect their plants from any who wish to cause it harm. They are knowledgeable and can easily defend their home and family.
This rank cannot be purchased! They are selected from characters who have reached the Bark rank when there is an IC need for it.
Leaders of their task. They instruct and command all those below, and lead their task when their corresponding Thorn is not present/able to do so. Like the bark of a tree, Barks envelop and protect the tree, and make up the main body of the pack. Referred to as "Bark [Name]".
This is the highest rank one can work towards to purchase for their character!
Masters of their task. Roots are what hold the tree together. Without roots, a tree would not live, just as Timberhold would not live without the Valleyfolk who continue to climb in rank and provide for the pack. Referred to as "Root [Name]".
New to their task, still learning and growing like a sapling. Saplings are a sign of a healthy and thriving forest, and as such, indicate the continued longevity of Timberhold. Referred to as "Sapling [Name]".
untasked
These wolves are new and/or have not selected the task they wish to master, but are still expected to help in every task. Like sprouts of a forest, these Timbers still have a lot of growth to go through before reaching their full potential. Referred to as "Sprout [Name]".
All new characters start out here, regardless of their history! The only difference is that if someone wants to have their character start out as a "Wither" going through the Cleansing Trials.
New life to the pack. Flowers are delicate, and need to be taken gentle care of. Pups are similar in that with proper care and raising, they will bloom into loyal and sturdy Timbers. Referred to as "Flower [Name]".
--
Wolves who have been exiled or are currently being held captive by Timberhold to stand trial. Further information will be included beside their name on if they are a prisoner, if they are a kill on sight exile, etc. Any Timbers undergoing the Cleansing Trials will also be referred to as a Wither until they have completed them. Referred to as "Wither [Name]".
This "rank" is a voluntary one. New characters are considered to have passed the Cleansing Trials successfully. It is optional to place a new character in here as they undergo their Cleansing Trials. If you place your character here to start and would like to skip past them, simply let staff know through a ticket and we'll bump them up to a Sapling and it will be canon that they passed their Trials.
If you have an already existing character in Timberhold that you want to go through the Cleansing Trials, you must complete all of the trials with canon pieces (art or literature) before being moved back to the rank discussed with the faction lead. Due to the nature of your character being confined to the War Wood.
