Drink from the fountain of the abyss.
With the closest ties to the Silence, Goldenwind society, elitist by nature, trades knowledge like it trades pelts. Ancient ruins scatter across the dunes, un-excavated catacombs and tunnels lay beneath. Breezes value the pursuit of the unknown, and uncovering and retaining their distant past is considered of high value to the desert clan.
From the legends of their creation, those of Goldenwind are keen on discovering the intricacies of how Phoenix turned sea to sand, whether to undo the Fire Aspect's destruction, or prevent it from changing again.
From the living to the dead, all must swim in the river of time.
From the desert comes a stranger.
Fiercely protective of themselves, Goldenwind seldom opens up to outsiders on their discoveries and their history. Only through dedication and rapport can one overcome this hurdle. Majority of Goldenwind's relationships with outsiders is considered one-sided. Intensely curious of the outside world, Goldenwind seeks to gain as much knowledge of the outside world without offering much of the desert's secrets in return.
Visitors to the desert clan are considered Blazers, given a shallow bluff for shelter within the dunes and kept under strict surveillance by rotating patrols of Lightfarers and Darkriders. Trespassers are dealt with diplomatically (but firmly) and turned (or chased) away at the border.
Gold glittering on an azure sky.
Familial and hardworking, the desert folk are a prideful bunch. Life within the desert is harsh and unforgiving, and thus the members of Goldenwind must each pull their weight in order to survive. The atmosphere is lively and jovial with a well-enforced work culture, masking the intense atmosphere of the desert, Breezes frequently celebrate with each other at the end of each Ensemble, marking the end of another season, representative of a close-knit community.
