The leaders of Goldenwind, though commonly referred to as the Sun and the Moon, the Universe pair holds the task of Morningstar and Eveningstar. While these tasks are handed down from parent to child, it is equally likely that a Star may choose an unrelated Breeze to become their successor.

Called the Celestial Dawnlight or the Celestial Dusklight (typically abbreviated to Lights), these are the second in command within Goldenwind. Providing council to the Stars, the Lights ensure that they are not led astray. This rank and task is also typically given via birthright, requiring training from youth in order to be considered for succession. However, a Star may choose an unrelated Breeze to become their second in command. 

Known as the High Cloud Quintet, they are the best representation of their respective tasks and lead their fields with unmatched expertise. Providing the Lights with daily updates and council to all those within their area of responsibility. Each is personally selected by the Stars, from those of the highest ranking, who were able to prove themselves exemplary to all that is Goldenwind. 

Due to the strict society within the desert, those that are deemed 'Of the Sands'  (denoted with an ⧖) are unable to progress beyond the rank of Radiant, and may not take up the following tasks: Solarflare/Voidwalker, Starweaver

Experts in their field, the Radiants are mentors to those of lower rank and are eligible to further their training in a more specialized task. They are usually consulted when matters pertain to their chosen task and are seen as knowledge holders within Goldenwind society, shining beacons in the dark. 

Learned and trained, the Twilight is the main body of Goldenwind. Comprised of able-bodied Valleyfolk, these are the individuals that perform day to day tasks and handle their responsibilities, twinkling upon the atmos.

Beginning to bloom, the Starlights are still dim upon the sky. These are usually young Breezes still learning their desired task, accompanied by an experienced radiant they too will shine brightly at the end of their training.
